I'm having a frustrating problem with my ACC - when i first set off, everything is fine. Air blows well out of whichever vent is selected and the car heats up or cools down perfectly.
However, after about half an hour, i can't get air out of any vent...But the blower is working - and can be heard lowdly when fan speed is manually increased - but no air can be felt! After awhile you can feel the change in temp on the dash ...ie the plastic feel cold - so it's deff working!
I've removed the side panel, and popped out the control switches to try and see what's going on. Everything is connected as it should be, and when i run calibrate it doesn't come up with any errors. So having searched these forums i think it is most likely to be the stepper motors failing to select the correct path fot the air to come out of the vents.
Can anyone tell me which motor does what? The motor on the side doesn't appear to do anything regardless of the buttons i press - the levels that it is connected to move ou when disconnected. I can feel the one on the front (behind the controls) doing something when i press the buttons - but not convinced it's doing what it should be!
Any suggestions?!
Thanks - Dave
