Hi all,
Last time I posted here, I was trying to diagnose a poor warm start condition, which has only gotten worse as the weather has gotten warmer. Back in April, I replaced the DI after a sudden complete failure with a Nordic unit from a site vendor. Since then, the car has thrown a p0340 (Cam position sensor) code twice, and been very difficult to start when warm.
The car has been to the shop twice to replace this mysterious sensor, which, after reading in the archives, only exists as circuitry in the DI. The shop has apparently put in two new Crank (not cam) position sensors in an attempt to fix this.
So the obvious thing to do here is to talk to the vendor and look to trade this DI for a different (OE, probably) one, right?
Thanks...
