Like I said, Stage 2 is a good start, the new ECU program will give you much more zip and the sport exhaust a more serious sound. As mentioned, I have the BSR Stage 1 upgrade on my 2003 SE Convertible and am quite please with the performance. Of course it is up to you if you think more power is required. Next if the sound isn't good enough for you try adding the down pipe with race catalyst. I haven't done this so I can't tell you what it does to the sound but I believe in one of the previous threads, somebody commented that it did increase the sportiness of the sound.
Another thing to think about before winter strikes is a set of E-Code headlight lenses (genuinesaab.com and eeuroparts.com have these). They give you a better pattern on low beam and about 50% more reach for the headlight on high beam. You can also have the headlight reprogrammed to the European setting (Option 1 via Tech II tool) so they work properly (parking lights in the middle position and for daytime running lights) and the fog light set to Option 1 so they come on with the parking lights and high beams.
Now back to babysitting grandbabies 6 and 7.
