I've never had confidence in my 2002 93 SE's breaks and recently it started doing what's described here. I drove a Charger this weekend on a rental and it stopped on a dime in very wet conditions. My car would have been in the trees or i would have been the slowpoke winding around gorgeous country turns like a grandma.
There's certainly no "oh sh****t!" moment when you slam the breaks and yet two Saab mechanics have told me that its normal. At this point, with a kid on the way, if this is normal I'm dumping the girl and getting something else...
