Charging Problem

Hello Everyone!!! Let me tell you what my symptoms are looking like.

-I noticed a very sluggish cranking but it caught and I was on my way.

-Drive 5 miles or so and stop, pick up the pizza, and the car won't restart. I push start it and get back home. The relay clicks a bunch of times but won't start.

-I pull the battery, charge it, put it back in and it starts.

-Later the next day a nearly repeat performance happens. Pull the battery, test the voltage and it reads ~10volts. I recharge the battery once more, and test the voltage across the posts once I get the car restarted and, while running, get a 10 volts again.

So here is my question. Does this sound like an alternator not charging properly to you as well? The alt. hasn't been replaced for at least 3 yrs/50k that I've owned it. Battery is less than a year old.

What do you think?
