Take a look under the hood after that 10 minute warm up and see where the level of the tank is. If it's low, then add some water to bring it up AFTER THE CAR COOLS. It's not unusual to have to add a little collant a few days after coling system work after the air works it's way out. If it goes low again, you have some sort of a leak. If the level is up where it belongs, then there's a wiring issue with the sensor (since you said that it's new).
The cricket noise is not the timing belt, since you have a chain and it's inside the engine. It makes a much different sound. It could be your serpentine belt that drives the accessories( passenger side of engine). You can get something called "belt dressing" (solid stick preferred) and apply it to the belt CAREFULLY (watch your fingers and don't let anything hit the belt as it can be thrown agressively). You might want to look at the belt with the car off - it's OK to twist it to peek - and see if it looks dry and cracked. If it is, it should be replaced. Also, if the Upper Idler Pulley has not been replace in the last 50K miles, replace it. the lower or mid pulley does not generally need replacement.
