Anyone able to get 'vert hydraulic cylinders rebuilt? Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Tue, 4 Aug 2009 14:28:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have found some posts about folks discussing having a hydraulic shop rebuild the cylinders, but I haven't found anyone who actually has. I filled up my pump yesterday morning and noticed a nice fat puddle of that $50 fluid on my garage floor this morning. I have two cylinders that seeped a bit, filling the tank must have blown one of them out. I'll have to investigate tomorrow, but I hope it's not a line.
So, has anyone successfully had a cylinder rebuilt? Don't feel like shelling out $500 for a new one. I've contacted a few local hydraulic shops, haven't heard anything back yet.
