Hey i need some advice, im used to the T5 engine and i have a 1999 viggen now. I installed a jsp downpipe and a Forge splitter which is a hybrid BPV. It allows either 70% atmospheric and 30% recirc, or vice versa or full recirc or full atmospheric.
Well i installed the dp and i hear a buzzing sound when i floor it in say 2nd the sound come on 4k rpms or higher. Sounded like a leak where the dp and the turbo are connected but there where no codes and i have had the dp installed for about 12 days. After about 10 days i decided to see if the 70% recirc and 30% atmospheric setting on the diverter valve would work. and now i just got a Check Engine Light faulting my bank 1 O2 sensor.
I havent had a light until i switched from full recirculation to hybrid on the diverter valve.
Can this throw a code with the O2 sensor? is the 30% dumping throwing off the air/fuel ratio? is this possible?
Can this be because the the system is thinking there is a leak where the diverter valve is???
Sorry for the long post guys
