I really cant take it anymore. I replaced all 4 rotors and all the pads about 4 months ago. I had some squeal before the rear pads were gone. Changed rear pads but not the rotors to start with. I still had noise so I changed the front rotors and pads. Still noise so I Changed the rear rotors.
I still had squealing, I mean loud sounds like metal on metal, finger nails on chalk board type stuff. So I looked on saabnet. I then took everything apart and greased the edge of the pads and anti squeal compounded the backs of the pads. Guess what still frikinn squealing. It has been about 3k miles since this was done.
I am not certain if it is the front or the back, I think it might be the backs but I wouldn't put any money on it. It doesnt seem to do it when backing up, when parked all the pads seem tight in there mounts/calipers except the rear inside pads. They have some play, enough that it is visually observable.
If I cant get this to stop I am going to have to take it to a repair place, help!
