"TCS Off" = ABS Problem?

The TCS light came on a couple of days ago and after pressing the button on the dash to confirm that it was not accidentally turned off I checked the owner's manual. The description, however, is rather vague describing this as a problem with the ABS system.
I previously planned to take this to my local indy shop later this month for service including a brake flush, F/R rotors and pad and was wondering whether this typically means ABS pump failure, or if there are other potential causes.
