Then why All Seasons?

Do you need All Seasons? I didn't think you got snow in SF.
I've have Conti-Extreme's and I have the Mich Exalto A/S now. The Conti's were fabulous when new. I developed some vibration problems which I thought were due to bent rims - a constant problem here in the freeze-thaw zone. After replacing the rims, I still had the problems. I'd read of other folks having problems with the Conti's being out of round and I think I reached that point after 15-20Kmiles.
I replaced them with the Michelins and I have been very pleased. The Mich's require a little break in time and are a little squirmy for the first couple hundred miles. After that they are nice.
I HIGHLY recommend having any Saab wheels balanced on a Hunter GSP-9700. These cars have all sorts of vibrations issues and the Hunter is the best balance you can get. It has eliminated more than one Saab owner's "it must be a mechanical problem" vibration problems and it doesn't cost any more than a normal computer balance. http://www.gsp9700.com to find one near you.
