The big difficulties is that we have had old style and new style bolts in circulation and it is YOUR responsibility to know the difference and the higher and lower torque specs for each bolt.

So you cannot say that he uses this spec and he uses that spec unless you keep in mind that I many times talk about the older stronger bolt that I have been able to get until recently when my source dried up.

So now I have to use the lower specs as well when replacing the bolts since the new style bolt is not strong enough to take the older higher torque specs.

And the reason behind why I do the torque sequence the way I do is that the torque on the 10 bolts when the car comes in is not any higher than the low setting (due to the mistakes made when the engine was built) so I don't jeopardize anything by doing one bolt at the time and then go over them again with the second torque spec and then go over them again with the 90° turn.
