I wouldn't bother -
those items are age related as they have seals inside the chambers to control the fluid and just like the rubber hoses etc under the hood they go bad with age even if they happen to have low miles. Combine that with the fact that most junkyard cars are going to have nearly as many miles as yours and you are just wasting your money buying struts/shocks used.
Save a little if you have to, search hard for a good deal and buy new - you can get the KYB GR-2 and have good results to OEM (just avoid the white GR1's as they are fixed in strength and too rough for the Saabs) - the GR-2's will fit and work on both the 900 and the 9-3 regardless of what the matchup says - they are slightly softer on the 900 is why they don't list them, but they work great IMO.
