Well, oil is delievered to the cams internally so I'm not sure what you're talking about with this plastic T and other hoses, but it sounds like you threw a rod; hence the hole in the cylinder wall. With a hole in the cylinder wall it is necessary to replace the engine, or at least the block, so it would be cheaper to purchase a salvage engine. I can't tell you what the car is worth with a blown engine, but assuming the vehicle is in good condition otherwise, I would assume it should still be worth a couple grand...maybe more, maybe less. My general rule of thumb is the value of the vehicle if it was in good running condition, minus the repair cost, divided by 2. So, (for the sake of nice round numbers) if your car would be worth $10,000 with a good engine, and it would cost $5000 to repair it, you should be able to get around $2500.
