Thanks for your input, Rob ! I bought the car 6 yrs ago with 37,000 showing. The car was a lease return and the dealer replaced a bunch of stuff inc. the DIC, serp belt, motor mounts and battery (I assume he snuck them thru some warranty somehow). It now shows 83,000 and the DIC was just checked last week per the recall letter issued several years ago. They also replaced the plastic clip recall on the fuel tank vent line at the same time. I had the miss before this was done and interestingly, it went away for several days after this dealer visit before returning. I immediately thought maybe bad gas or dirty nozzle(s) but I've always had a locking cap and am as careful filling up as I possibly can be. Maybe my question should be what problems don't register on the computer so a code reader does no good !! Thanks again-
