My wife's 96 900 Convertible has a weird electrical problem. After chasing a starting problem over three winters and a complete fuel system, it was finally cured by replacing the ignition switch.
Now the radio only displays '----' not 'code in' although it is getting power and will activate the antenna. I found a procedure on this forum for getting it to accept a code and will try that tonight.
However, if I blank the SID display, both the tach and the fuel gauge drop immediately to zero. HELP!!
