I have been dealing with a slight shake in the front end of my 1999 9-3 now for about a year. The car just passed 108,000 miles. I have taken a lot of action in trying to combat the problem but have yet to solve it. I get a slight shake in the steering wheel from about 50-65mph. It is also evident when I slow down, it goes away once the speed dips below 50mph.

I have replaced the the front tires, put new wheels on, had the tires balanced (X3 normally and force balanced once), had the rotors replaced, and both axles with full half-shafts from Cardone (complete with inner driver). I thought for sure the new axles would solve the problem, but it is still prevalent.

I did notice a decrease a few weeks ago when I gave the car a tune-up. I replaced the plugs, oil filter, air filter, and changed the oil with Mobil 1 10w-40 high mileage formula. The shakes seems to have lessened, but it is still there. It is more noticeable under load though. Anybody have any idea what might be causing this still. It doesn't affect driving too much, but it's annoying. Could it be motor mounts maybe, or something else? I have to let my funds rebound a bit before I dump more money into this car.
