What happens when you move the airflow to the floor? I just went thru another "SAABisode" with my A/C :) Also removed/reinstalled and sort rebuilt one of my dash switches for A/C heat. I'm not sure on what happens beyond, but the first control link in the vent control is a very funny multi-hinged device that allows you to turn the knob on the dash to move from top/bottom/defrost, etc. If it's merely a "venting" issue ... I'd probably start there. Probably take the dash assy out. It's pretty easy. Just take usual caution with SAAB plastic - the weakest plastic on the planet with biodegradeable shelf life of about 3 years max ;)
