Thanks to REM for the link to the instructions. They were very helpful. And yes that spring is a PITA to get back on. I finally figured out that it helps to get one side in properly, clamp it with some vice grips, and then work in the other side. Also, I put in the Akebono pads, and the won't fit in without undoing the guide pins and taking apart the caliper. It's not a big deal, but Dean indicated that it isn't necessary. Maybe true for the OEM pads, but not the Akebonos.
All in all, it was a success, but it took me about 4 hours, and I had some break fluid overflow out of the reservoir.
