It takes a while because you have to get a lot of stuff out of the way, but very doable. There are decent pictures in the Haynes manual.
You might want to watch/locate the pulleys as the engine runs to make sure - my a/c clutch bearing was wobbling (replaced), the idler pulley was rattling (replaced), THEN my water pump bearing went (replaced).
When the water pump bearing went, it did not leak either, but the pulley is so close to the timing cover, it started rubbing against it.
If it is the WP bearing going YOU WANT TO TAKE CARE OF IT FAST EVEN IF IT'S NOT LEAKING. Luckily I caught it in time before it rubbed through the timing cover. You can search through the posts to see others who had the pump pulley wear through the timing cover and what it takes to replace THAT.
