ABS controller vs. sensor

Well, just about every light on my dash lit up the other day, and my speedo went dead. I've been driving the car since, and it has been running, driving fine, but will occasionally chime with a flash of the lights, then all is fine again.
After doing some reading on the board, I'm confused if I should be looking at the controller, or just a sensor. Would prefer to just replace a sensor, and hope that takes care of the problem.
Anyone have any additional insight on this problem.
Also, my turbo boost has been fine, however, I lose cruise when the ABS, TCS and brake light come on.
Thanks for any help.
