They should have a printout of the before and after so you can check the toe. If it's ok and you don't mind the steering wheel, you should be ok. If not, why take a chance with new tires?
I think this is one of those good reasons that many of us do the work ourselves, if possible. Same happened to me; the shop said they got the alignment as close as possible and the steering wheel was left offset about 10 degrees. At home, I checked their work. They had completely rounded off the flats on the adjusters on both sides as well as badly damaging the threads on one of them. Of course, they still charged $70 for the alignment and failed to mention the damage. Although they said the tie rod ends were frozen, they still could be moved, just not through the full range. I loosened the adjusters with PB Blaster and replaced the ends and adjusters for $80, then set the toe with a cheap tool from HFrt. Find a good independent or diy.
