OK, after much reading I am attempting this job. I need to replace the CPS (sensor) on my 2000 9-3. I have a new sensor to install. I also got a small right angle ratcheting screwdriver with a standard magnetic socket which I hope will be compact enough to get in with a T30 bit and turn the screw.
Now, I just can't seem to figure out where exactly is this sensor located? Do I need to get at it on lift from the bottom of the vehicle or can I from the top? Does the oil need to be drained out? I notice an o-ring on the new sensor. THanks much for any tips!
