I have had the same problem on my 01" 93SE (152K)for almost a year now. Shifting back and forth does help alot, although I have found opening up the hood for it to kool off under the battery helped as well. My dealer says its a growing problem now with the age of Saabs. The service department can place a by-pass switch for $200.00 which I may do here soon.
