Hard to say how long you have. Eventually the clutch plate rivets will start to score the flywheel. So I'd do it sooner rather than later. I don't know the difference between the AP and Sachs, but I think Sachs is OEM.
You can choose not to replace the clutch slave because it's not leaking, but the critical part is the bearing on the end. If it gives out, you're looking at taking the tranny off again. Given the hassle of removing the tranny, I'd say it's not worth saving the cost of the clutch slave for peace of mind. HTH.
