Viggen question Posted by Matt Gatof [Email] (#2375) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Matt Gatof) on Wed, 27 Apr 2011 10:04:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This may be a stupid question, but here goes. I am looking at a Viggen 5 door. The car is pretty clean, but I did get the dealer to admit the motor is "new" (used motor), as the previous one went. Not suprised by this.
My question is: I have never driven a Viggen, but I was NOT impressed when compared to my previous 97 9000 Aero, nor my current 95 Aero wagon. Hummmmm.... From everything I have read, this thing should be a rocket. So me and my mechanic are thinking maybe they put a 2.0 motor in the car? It has the Viggen valve cover, but my indy mech seems to think they are all interchangable ie) 2.0 and 2.3 motors.
Is he right, and how do I identify a 2.0 L motor viually compared to the 2.3 motor? The car is several hours away so not easy to get to my mechanic.
Thanks for helping the ignorant. I just really feel the need for a Viggen in my life.
Matt
