Oil pump leaking, R&R planned, what should I replace?

ok,
'97 2.0T SE, 149k miles
Had oil replaced about 1k miles ago, forgot to get high-mileage oil, and leaking has been increasing... recently got real bad leaving spots on the ground, and finally got around to investigating.
At idle on the driveway, getting 2-3 drops a second from the oil pump housing, so I figure it's either the oil pump seal or o-ring. (those with more experience, please correct me if this appears to be an incorrect assumption).
I haven't checked engine number yet to know which housing I would have - as it's a '97, it's the year that the housing changed. But does it even matter?
Is there any risk with just planning to swap out the seal and o-ring? What would be the argument for getting the whole oil pump housing?
If I'm getting in that far (that's the farthest I've gone into things connected to engine, replaced pulleys but never touched internals on engine block yet - I'm a moderate DIY, not a mechanic yet), is there anything else I should be buying for parts to replace or at minimum have as spares, while I'm in there? snap-ring, bolt, crankshaft key? If I've gotten oil on the serpentine belt from splatter, do I need to swap that?
Any advice will be appreciated
