hi all
wondering whether anyone has any experience with a bad heater core hose. I don't know whether it's the inlet or the outlet, but it's the one coming out of the side of the cylinder head (not the one coming out the back, by the thermostat). It's leaking right at the clamp and i'm wondering if i can get away with just cutting it off at the clamp and reattaching it with what's left of the end of the hose. it looks like it should reach.
i realize it's a lousy option, but i haven't got time until the weekend to do the job properly or be without the car for a mechanic to do it.
thanks for reading
