New car to me (2003/75K), so I was pleased at how clean it was. The only spot that was a little dirty was right in front of the cam sprockets, as you can see in 93Gator's photos. A little scum, I don't know that I'd call it "sludge" - it wiped off with a rag. Although, it was actually more than I saw in my NG900 at 100K miles.
I'll be pulling the pan as my next major job... I'll post when I see what's in there.
