I've replaced the WP twice in the last year. It's a very tedious, time consuming job - that hard pipe is a real pain...I used Vasaline to lube up the o-rings on the WP inlet. One other thing - I purchased an OEM WP both times and both times one of the three o-rings (two large for the WP inlet and one small for the hard pipe) did not match and I ended up going to the local Saab dealer for the right one.
Good luck - I'll be taking my WP out again because I now have a very large oil leak coming from the area where the WP pulley banged against the timing chain cover - have the JB Weld ready to go....
