No, you should not drive the car until it is determined if you in fact have low oil pressure or if it is an electronic glitch with the oil pressure warning system.
If you do in fact have an oil starvation problem from clogged up oil screen, you might slowly wear down the engine for every mile you drive making it impossible to fix short of a full rebuild of engine.
So if you had little money before, you are not going to have more of it if you wait too long having it looked at.
If your mechanic suggested to have the oil pan removed last time, he might have seen plenty of oil sludge evidence around the timing cover and chain area when head was off to suspect that it is plenty of it further down.
Since these engines had a loose #10 head bolt from factory, they allowed coolant to leak into the oil in small amounts and that could create sludge all by itself.
