2002 93 SE (189K miles) automatic
I was driving aggresively on the freeway yesterday, full acceleration from 70mph-80mph. Then I heard a "cluck" noise, the car began to lose power, my turbo needle started to jump back and forth, check engine light began to flash, engine was still running, car slowing down and I'm able to pull safely off the exit.
When the car came to a stop I am able to restart the engine again. So the car/engine will start with no problem, but it won't stay on. After about an hour (while waiting for tow service to come) when the engine cool down a bit i'm able to drive it slowly (under 10 mph) for half a block to safer spot.
So the condition now is I'm able to start the car (when cold) it will idle normally and will remain to stay on but if I start to drive or press on the gas pedal it will run rough and the engine will shut off.
If the engine is warm/hot I'm still able to start the car but it idle rough (the turbo needle will goes into yellow then red) and the engine will shut off 5-10 seconds after starting.
Please help, did my turbo go bad under hard acceleration?
Before this problem i've been driving with two engine code.
1) Major EVAP leak code (i don't remember the code number)
2) Camshaft Sensor code
Please help, I would appreciate any help, feedback and advise. I hope it's nothing major
