It's the upper portion of the alternator bracket. The lower portion is the one that also holds the drive shaft bearing.
It's a little bit of tinkering to get the alternator loosened and moved backwards so that you can access the bolts for that upper bracket and replace it.
Belt tensioner has to be removed too to get it off.
