Hmmm, so you mean big time tranny fix? Are you sure? I've never had it pop out of reverse, and been with this problem for a long time. Why would just the reverse be "torn up"? I don't even remember grinding reverse much at all. You know how you have to shift these cars into reverse to really turn off and get the key out. That's where a lot of this problem comes in to making it a pain to drive.
