Hi Guys - I'm concerned i messed up the sequence of my top. Just purchased this viggen a week or so ago and previous owner mentioned he needed to get fluid filled every other season. Said i might have another season in it but depends on usage. Went out of town and wifey couldnt resist using it. Got back to town top was down. I went to put the top up and it started through its cycle. Decklid opened, top rose and extended forward, rear window panel stood up vertical, then the system stopped. Error message on dash but dead pixels so can't read (pixel repair kit is on order...) Concerned it was going to rain last night and garage was full of stuff. Flipping the switch back and forth, it was just dead, nothing. Didnt check the fluid. So with the engine off, i pushed the decklid down - it went right down with no resistance. Then i did the same with the rear window. Let it sit overnight, fired it up and hit the switch to see if i could get the locks to secure. Must have hit the button the wrong direction as the rear window went to stand up, then system stopped again with the tone and error message i cant read... When it did this though, i did hear a click. I think i got it to go back down a bit but it stopped again. After, nothing - no noises, wont move. The gap between the decklid and bottom edge of the rear window (5th bow?) was a good size. I applied some pressure and it didnt want to move. Turned off the engine, and i guess it depressurized the system as the rear window panel kind of dropped. Off to work and research. So my plan now is to get some fluid from the gm dealer and hope that i just need to refill and the system will magically work again. Phone call to one of my local indies - he tells me i almost definitely knocked it out of sequence and it will need to be recalibrated, and it didnt sound like a fluid issue but more a switch. Ill still try the fluid route before bringing it out there.

What are your guys thoughts other than thinking im a dope for moving the decklid and rear window section...

Any help would be appreciated.
