I got a set of Viking alloy rims about 5 years ago from a salvage yard in north central Ohio called Brims. They are an import salvage yard. The rims needed some paint work but they are straight and look and run great on my 1995 900S. I only run them in the summer. Steel with blizzaks in the winter in Ohio. Except last winter you didn't need snow tires in Ohio.
I've recently picked another 900S, a 1998. This car has two bent rims. The previous owner, a college student ran off the road. I don't know the extent of the incident but I suspect that is the source of the bent rims. I just ordered a set of 4 Viking rims from the salvage yard in CA. They guarantee the rims to be straight and true. $100.00 each including the little plastic center caps. I like the Viking rims both for their looks and they are a strong rim.
I'd but good used rims before paying to have my used ones straightened. Less money and I can get scrap value for the old rims. Unless I was attached to the old rims. In fact that is what I am doing. The 98 has alloy rims, two are only slightly bent. Just enough to be annoying. Anyone want to make an offer. Two tires to the wear bars and two with a lot of tread. After running off the road the front tires were worn severely due to miss alignment but the rears a great. I'd use the two rears but the Viking rims are 16 inch and the stock alloy rims are 15 inch.
