CPS?

So recently I replaced my DIC; the old one was throwing codes at least once a week. Have new plugs. Car's been running great since then, but yesterday the engine was warm when I started it up, and immediate got a code (P1312 or something similar). Throttle body had gone into limp home mode, so I cleared the code & reset the throttle body. But then the engine was idling high, like 1500rpm. Still felt like the throttle was stuck in limp home mode, so I checked, but it's not. The car threw another code, P0507, high RPM at idle.
Started up this morning, and is driving like a champ, no problems, no codes. I'm wondering, is there a possibility this is the crank position sensor (CPS) going bad? I'm not having any trouble starting when the engine is warm/hot...could the CPS cause a high idle?
I might replace it anyway, just as a precaution...I do have a lot of miles.
Thanks everybody :)
