1171 CEL after new plugs, AIC & TB Cleaning+Techron

New (to me) 1996 NG 900 SE 5-sp Vert 164K
Persistent (comes up every second ignition recycle) 1171 check engine light (lean condition) after cleaning AIC and Throttle Body. Correct plugs (NGK BCPR7ES) installed. Gapped at .35
Replaced a bunch of vacuum hoses including new PCV nipple & bushing kit. Can't seem to find source of unmetered air leak-if that’s what it is.
Interesting note: after I added the new plugs and Chevron Techron Fuel Inj cleaner. Car was noticeably faster and went into over boost (fuel cutoff) situation a couple of times.
Fuel pump, fuel filter, DIC, MAP sensor, Evap Purge valve are relatively new (changed within last 10k). The car starts and runs well otherwise and everything (including top) works!
The 1171CEL has only occurred (from what I can tell since I have all repair records) after the above procedures I had performed is puzzling. Thoughts appreciated.
