Your stalling and hunting idle could be caused by a bad air mass meter (AMM) or a vacuum leak. The AMM is powered by pin 3 and grounded by pin 1. Air mass signal should be on pin 4, which Saab Motronic 2.10.2 manual says should be around 1 volt at idle and 1.5 volts at 2500 rpm. Remanned AMMs cost about $90 at retail auto parts stores. Three different AMMs were used from 1994-98. The Cardone AMM I just installed ran 0.5 volts on pin 4 at idle, but fixed the stalling/idle problem. After changing AMM, disconnect battery negative cable for a minute to reset engine computer.
