No sarcasm intended, look in your manual.

This is a drawn out process and many steps are involved. I first tried it when I was buying a used Saab and the top stopped working. The lady selling the car had no idea what to do, so we looked in the manual and it had specific instructions on how to manually close the top. It was not easy. If you do not have an owners manual let me or anyone else know. I would be happy to send you the needed information. After trying the process described in the manual and you still have trouble, send information about the specific problems you are having.
In a nutshell, you fold down the rear seat, on the passenger side of the car, behind where the rear seat back was is a slit in the gray covering(kind of like carpet). Behind this slit is a handle that needs to be pulled down. This release the gears from the motor. I don't remember exactly how the tonnoea cover opens or if it opens at the same time. You will have to check. Close the top, and latch the cover back in place. Good luck.
