power steering fluid

So I took my 2000 9-3 base w/ 130k miles to a valvoline oil change shop. I know, I know, first mistake. I was in a hurry and needed the oil changed before a trip.
Anyway, while paying, they mentioned that one of their guys topped up my power steering fluid. The invoice just says "power steering fluid." I can't imagine it was much - maybe a few ounces. I know the car takes CHF-11s and there are conflicting reports about mixing. The bottle says not to mix and the GM manual says its ok to mix in emergencies. I've done about 2000 miles since the oil change in northeast winter without any steering problems or noises. Should I get the power steering flushed and fresh fluid added? I've also heard older steering systems are best left alone and flushes/fluid changes can cause more problems as they dislodge debris. Anyone have any anecdotes of mixing steering fluids? Catastrophe? Recs?
