'97 900SE - which alternator should I get? 90A 130A?

So for the 900's they had the 90A alternator.
When it moved to the '99 model year 9-3, they have a 130A unit.
I've read on some old posts that the 140A from a 9-5 has the same mounting and fits as well, and that some have recommended that as it's a more robust unit than the 130A as an upgrade for 9-3's.
What are the implications of a larger alternator? Would this be helpful or just provide additional drivetrain losses and wear on the battery charging faster? Any reason I should or shouldn't upgrade while I'm replacing my now dead alternator?
I agree with everyone's assessment and I'll get a Bosch unit, and not the cheap rebuilds at local parts stores.
The 140A unit especially sounded like it's seen as more robust unit.
Would it be a reasonable option to just buy a used one from a 9-5 in a boneyard, or refurb-only? Guessing I can get an alternator cheaper if just buy a used one, I'd consider if the 9-5 is more robust...
