You've got a couple of options. Only cars with CD changers had holes in the carpet, so you can go to a junkyard and find a piece of carpeting from a NG900 or a 9-3 with no holes in it. It's been discontinued by Saab, so that's your only option for new carpeting. Another option is to pull back the carpeting and unbolt the brackets, so you'll at least get rid of the studs sticking out into the hatch, and then try to find the trunk caddy or storage bin that Saab used to sell. It fits in the same place as the changer with velcro, and it's big enough to cover the holes. That was my solution when I took out my changer, and I love having a bin to toss small things into. The part number for it is 0248328, but it's also been discontinued, so you'll have to find a used one.
