bypass the switch to be certain.
less than 5$.
i put an old brass 2 contact switch inline with the nss. used about 16 guage wire.
by using an inline switch, you will know for sure if that is your problem since it can be switched on or off.
too dark for me to check which wires, did this over 1 year ago. spliced it at the connector, wired to switch, and tape was wrapped over the splice and switch.
safety: note that my automatic will now start in any gear. this is not a good idea for teenagers.
my symptoms were a 10 mile trip no-start. after car cooled for a few hours, it would then start. threw no codes; no limp home.
