Looking for Viggen wheel replacement candidates

Folks,
I'm getting tired of paying big bucks to have the OEM wheels on my Viggen straightened. Seems like every 15 months or so I have to fork out the equivalent of 2 new wheels in cost to 2 of them straightened. I've even purchased a reconditioned OEM wheel and had a pothole eat it within a year. Tech at the tire/wheel shop says that the OEM Viggen wheels seem "soft," which he thinks partially explains why they get bent so often. He recommended looking for a good set of aftermarket alloys that might be more robust in standing up to DC area potholes. Does anyone have a good -- or bad -- experience with aftermarket replacement allows for the Viggen?
