It must prevent back wind to the driver and front seat passenger as the screen actually requires back wind to stay up right.
The official Saab part has spring loaded pins which insert into the mounting grommets in addition to the two stab bars which slide under the rear headrests.
The much lower cost Raceland screen I installed has two thumb wheels to loosen and rotate the front anchor pins out of the grommets.
I haven't tested it yet. I asked my wife if she wanted to drive to the Ice Cream Parlor last night to give the screen a test but we were both still stuffed from dinner.
In and Out time should be only seconds and it should store in the trunk per Saab's instructions.
