A few things done, some will wait for bigger things... Posted by Ryan [Email] (#2222) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Ryan) on Sat, 17 May 2014 16:52:34 In Reply to: Re: Rear Anti-sway, 93Gator, Wed, 30 Apr 2014 12:02:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
like the clutch, which the pre-purchase inspection regarded as "stiff, will need to be replaced soon." I replaced the m/t mount with a stock mount for the time being, which took care of the shifter slop. I'll put the big boy Genuine Saab one in when the clutch is necessary. The a/c leak was the low pressure line, easy fix. Changed cabin, air and fuel filters, spark plugs and put the new DIC in. Old one is in the trunk.
Heater hoses are next. I've got starter noise intermittently after firing it up, so starter is on the list as well.
It's amazing what 15 years of working on a 9000, and having a new (to me) Saab, has done. There were no more mysteries with that 9Ks, and I was getting to really hate the nickel-and-dime repairs on a car that was *really* beginning to show her age. This Viggen has me a little excited (knock on wood) again.
