Hello,
It is pretty easy to replace. Put the shifter in park or neutral. Above the button you pull up to shift is 1 10 torx screw you need to remove. Then the front portion just pull forward and out. To remove the back half you push the sport button up then unsolder the wires. Then you can slide it back and up removing the wires as you move it out. Then just reverse. Sometimes the wires are not soldered to the sport button and can just be slid off but I cannot remember which years are which way. Any other questions just ask.
