You are thinking in old Saab terms which Saab was almost alone with loosening the clamp and pull boot and tripod away from inner driver.
Most other cars, you pop the whole drive shaft out of the transmission and work on the bench.
So you need a breaker bar that fit in between the transmission case and inner joint and give it a quick jab to pop it out. You also need to drain some fluid out since it will come out the hole otherwise.
After that, it is a matter of carefully bend out the lips of that ring that holds the tripod in place to pull out shaft or remove and replace the outer boot at the same time and slide the inner boot over the shaft.
Why they have that tamper proof thingy there I'm not quite sure but it might be a purely assembly line reason so that the tripod and driver doesn't pop apart during transport.
Volvo have a similar thing on many models where the driver is staked creating these little nubs that holds the tripod in place.
