Not sure what year you have, this is based on a '99 Viggen, which is still pretty new to me.
If you're referring to the exterior roof panel piece that follows the roof line between the door and the hatch, that piece has a screw or nut at each end, and two threaded studs that pass through the body of the car above the window inside the car and are held with nuts on the inside. I don't believe you'd need to remove the window (which is 'permanently' sealed in place) to remove that piece, but you do need to remove some interior trim to get to the nuts. I think the drivers side seal part # is 4327235. Check this diagram "External details, Other sealings 3 door", make sure this is what you're looking for: http://www.jimellissaabparts.com/showAssembly.aspx?ukey_product=3214958&ukey_assembly=408094. Silicone may fix it, but those seals obviously do shrink.
